Flutist Ariane Nelle's passion for music began with her involvement with the Powell River Academy Girls Choir and the Academy Youth Choir with whom she toured Europe. From those early years, Ariane studied at UVic, and in 2005 moved to Prince George, where she is a member of the Prince George Symphony Orchestra, and also librarian of the orchestra. She plays principal flute in the Northern Orchestra. Ariane, her husband and children make music together as "The Nelles Music Ensemble" and perform in and around Prince George. And to deepen her musical study, she has recently taken up cello and is palying as a cellist with the Sinfonia Prince George.
