Canadian tenor Clinton Stoffberg is quickly winning over audiences on the recital stage. Clinton received an Artist Diploma from the Vancouver Academy of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of British Columbia. Clinton was recently engaged as a participant in OperaWorks’ Two-Week Winter Intensive program in Los Angeles. This past fall, he was selected as one of only nine singer-pianist duos to be invited to the Oxford Lieder Festival Master Course. Clinton made his orchestral debut last spring as the tenor soloist in Dunbar Heights United Church’s production of Bach’s Mass in B Minor and followed that up this spring in the role of John the Evangelist in their production of Bach’s St. John Passion. Also an experienced chorister, Clinton has had the pleasure of taking the stage with the Vancouver Cantata Singers and Juno-nominated musica intima.
